AJ Sarkar, Founder
Entrepreneur, private businessman and industry advocate, AJ Sarkar is the Founder and CEO of RoundWorld Solutions, an IT consulting and management company based in San Diego. AJ embraces a global perspective and vision that he shares as his mission for RoundWorld Solutions, and the cornerstone to his vision and objective for establishing the ICCG.
AJ is also co-founder of the ICCG. He previously co-founded a Web services-enabled Business Process Management company, and holder of several patents. He has extensive experience in software design and business development, and holds an MS in Computer Science from the Computer Science Department at Pune University. He has articulated an innovative Wireless and Web Services Gateway for the Enterprise market, and was one of the first to envision the power of Web Services in the Wireless/Mobile field. He previously played key role in designing/architecting cutting-edge fiber-optics products during his tenure at Sorrento Networks.
He also held key technical positions at Coreel Labs/Paxonet and SwitchOn Networks (acquired by PMC Sierra). In his current role as a CEO of RoundWorld Solutions, he overseas client management, sales, and other business development activity to further the company’s mission of providing software “solutions-on-demand,” based on a hybrid Global model.
Tina Lai Liedtky
Tina Lai Liedtky is Vice President, Global Marketing and Product Development at Alere, a leading point-of-care diagnostics company. Tina leads the strategic marketing function for the largest business unit of Alere, and is responsible for setting and executing long-term growth strategies in the cardiometabolic space. She has a track-record of success in building, growing, and managing multi-million dollar businesses for small- and large-cap medical device companies.
Prior to Alere, Ms. Liedtky held various global leadership roles at Medtronic, Boston Scientific, Covidien, and Lombard Medical, leading teams to develop and commercialize breakthrough innovations across a variety of therapies and technologies.
Ms. Liedtky graduated summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa from Princeton University and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Ken Lawonn
Ken Lawonn is the senior Vice President & Chief Information Officer for Sharp HealthCare. In his role he is responsible for continuing to move Sharp forward in the implementation of advanced technologies to support the transformation of healthcare through the Sharp Experience. He joined the Sharp team in February 2014.
Lawonn has over 30 years’ experience in healthcare technology leadership. Prior to joining Sharp, Lawonn served as the senior vice president for strategy and technology at Alegent Creighton Health in Omaha, NE. Under his leadership, Alegent was recognized as a leader in the deployment of technology to support integrated clinical care. Lawonn also served as the vice president and chief information officer for Banner Health in Fargo, ND.
Lawonn received his bachelor’s degree in computer information systems from Moorhead State University in Moorhead, Minnesota and an MBA from the University of Nebraska.
Marc Zecca
Marc Zecca, PhD is the Senior Executive Director Information Technology for Schneider Electric North America.
Prior to joining Schneider Electric he was the CIO for NuVasive Medical, the Vice President of Engineering for PeopleSoft and former Managing Director of System’s Operations at American Airlines.
With over 30 years serving as an Information Technology Professional, Dr. Zecca is also a Graduate Professor of Technology, Ashford University and University of the Rockies. Dr. Zecca also is a 34 Year Navy/Coast Guard Combat Veteran.
Evan Donaldson
Evan Donaldson is the VP of Solutions for RoundWorld Solutions. In this role, Evan ensures that RoundWorld provides cost-effective, targeted, scalable IT solutions for a broad array of clients, ranging from big-data analytics and visualization solutions with the 360° tool through big data and IT governance, staff augmentation, software and systems development, and consulting services.
Evan is also the co-founder of Talentry, running a Technical Services practice based out of San Diego, CA. He has worked in both technology project management, IT Solutions and Professional services for nearly 20 years, primarily focusing on San Diego and Southern California. He has managed projects, trained and advised, and identified resources for companies to meet their critical technical needs.
Evan is a subject matter expert on the IT management and Professional services, and optimizing customized staff augmentation programs and strategies. Evan is widely recognized for his classes and white-papers on these subjects, and is a regular contributor to LinkedIn.
Evan possesses a B.A. in Biology the University of San Diego, a Teaching Credential from the State of California earned at USD, and has completed the coursework for a Master’s Degree in Molecular Biology at San Diego State University. He also serves as a V.P. of Programs for the HDI San Diego Chapter, and as a board member of the San Diego Chapter of the USD Alumni Association. Prior to his impactful career in the technology field, Evan was an award-winning teacher at prestigious Francis Parker Upper School, teaching Science and Math. Evan enjoys karate, deep-sea fishing, swimming, hiking and camping with his family.
Shanji Xiong
Shanji Xiong has close to 20 years’ experience in the area of Big Data Analytics. His past work includes developing real time and high volume analytical solutions in risk management, fraud detection, knowledge driven marketing and new account acquisition for Fortune 500 companies.
He has held leadership positions with Experian, Morgan Stanley, Fair Isaac, HNC Software and ID Analytics, driving innovation and new product development. He has a Ph.D. degree in Engineering Mechanics from Columbia University and MS and BS degree from Peking University in China.
Will Daley
Will Dailey has a Dev/Ops background spanning nearly 20 years, working for large corporations such as Sun, Oracle and as a key player in 3 high tech start-ups. He was first introduced to Hadoop in 2010 while working on a relational database consolidation in the mortgage industry.
Ever since, he has been an ardent Big Data evangelist. Will currently fills the role as head of schoolhouse for Athena Tech Academy, a brand new company in the heart of Silicon Valley, where he is the principle instructor for Hadoop Supercomputing. Additionally he leads courseware development and instructional delivery. The school provides an immersive learning of Big Data with the goal of producing top quality Hadoop Engineers. Robert Van Heyningen
Robert Van Heyningen has over 30 experience in wireless and electronics manufacturing. He is currently SVP, Manufacturing for Akyumen Technologies since July 2014. Previous to that he was VP Business Development and Account Management at Flextronics, responsible for Asia customers and businesses in consumer electronics.
Prior to Flextronics, Robert was at Qualcomm for many years working at both Corporate level and QCT.
Robert is based in Poway, California.
